Experience Counts

Since joining the JRBT team, Angela has become a distinguished professional among her peers. Recently, she was recognized as a top three finalist for the 2018 Waco Chamber ATHENA Leaders Award, which celebrates exemplary leadership of local professionals who have demonstrated excellence, creativity and initiative in their profession. In 2015, Angela was honored with the TSCPA Rising Star Award, given to younger CPA members who have demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and active involvement in the TSCPA, the accounting profession and their communities.

With JRBT, Angela is involved in compliance and planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts, with specialized experience in income taxation of financial institutions, insurance companies and entities operating in oil and gas.

In addition to her work, Angela is very active in both professional and community involvement projects. Angela is also a worship leader at Victorious Life Church, where she also serves in the leadership role of treasurer on the Board of Directors. During the summer, she teaches at McLennan Community College part-time with a goal of showing young students the different paths available to them with an accounting degree.
