What You’ll Do
Client Leadership & Advisory
- Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for a diverse client base.
- Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies that identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Stay ahead of changing tax laws and regulations, helping clients navigate complex tax matters.
- Review tax returns, tax projections, and technical tax work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while serving as a trusted business advisor.
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to tax professionals.
- Mentor staff and identify growth opportunities that support career development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example through integrity, professionalism, and commitment to service excellence.
Engagement & Practice Management
- Oversee all phases of engagements, including planning, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, billing, and collections.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring quality work and timely delivery.
- Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and client service.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce additional firm services.

Qualifications
Required
- CPA license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Five or more years of current or recent public accounting experience.
- Strong technical tax knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing client engagements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven project management and organizational abilities.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field, or additional advanced coursework.
- Big Four or regional public accounting firm experience.
- Experience in a collaborative, high-performance professional services environment.
