Cameron joined Jaynes, Reitmeier, Boyd & Therrell, P.C. in 2007 after 33 years in public accounting in Waco, including managing his own firm for the last 14 years. The firm was a second generation family business which was established in Waco, Texas in 1951 to offer public accounting services to individuals and businesses.

His experience includes tax preparation and planning for individuals and businesses, including partnerships, corporations, and trusts and client representation before the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to compliance services, he offers services to help businesses envision, establish and reach goals and objectives through performance management.
